After three years without new music, Mantaraybryn has returned with three new tracks. His Year Of The Heron EP is a great collection of music that has been concluded by the release of ‘Into One Ether’. “If you have ever felt like you exist in different ways around different social groups, that’s what ‘Into One Ether’ is about,” he explains. “Constantly shifting between different versions of yourself to protect yourself and the perception of yourself.” It’s an eclectic track full of bouncy pop hooks and moments that border on the experimental in their musical uniqueness. -Dan Peeke
